Proto-iPhone - the imaginary you never imagined

I have become fascinated with this image. This is for a number of reasons. Firstly, because it really looks like on of my Ex-Machine works. Secondly, because I can't tell if it is real or not. I recently found it on my computer but I cannot figure out where it came from. Apparently, its an early concept design for the Apple Phone. I had to look this up. What is interesting is that I couldn't tell from just the image alone. I have been intrugued by 'leaked' and speculation images of iPhone which emerge before their secretive release. There is a culture of composite images which closely resemble real-life objects yet have been completely fabricated. I have a collection of these images somewhere. I'll put them up soon. Perhaps I'll write later about Kluitenberg's Imaginary Media.
